We work for promoting inclusive growth of Urban, Rural and Tribal low-income underserved communities and contributing towards their economic and social wellbeing. Our programs are focused on Financial Education, social security benefits, livelihoods and health. We have programs in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Odisha. We are recruiting a counsellor to work with Children attending schools in Narol and Naroda in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Counsellor

Base Location: Ahmedabad

Total Vacancies: 1

Job Type: Full time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with students attending schools in Narol and Naroda in Ahmedabad.

• Designing and conducting different sessions on vocational guidance and other behavioral issues.

• Individual Counselling for students on behavioral, emotional and psychological issues

• Organizing individual and group sessions for vocational/career counselling

• Arranging for resource persons from different sectors to conduct exposure sessions for students

• Partnering with different government and industry associations to get more information pertaining to vocational and career opportunities

• Arranging career fairs/workshops in schools

• Interacting with school teachers, Principals to identify behavioral, emotional and psychological issues and counselling the students.

• Maintain all reports and records of treatment plans.

SKILLS

• Must have excellent communication skills in Gujarati and Hindi languages.

• The candidate should be child friendly and able to communicate well with children.

• Good interpersonal skills, writing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to undertake & deliver on the above responsibilities and tasks.

• Capable of documentation, reporting and presentation.

• Ability to work independently.

QUALIFICATION:

• Must have Master’s degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology preferred.

OTHERS:

• Must have minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification work experience in the relevant field.
