Background

ABDM Microsites Project

• A Microsite is a defined universe of healthcare stakeholders (all healthcare providers, labs, pharmacies, etc.) interconnected by a common characteristic like presence within a defined geographical area, common ownership, part of a common association/group, etc. Microsites are implemented to counter various challenges encountered in ABDM adoption, especially for Private sector providers. Focused outreach efforts within a Microsite can increase awareness about ABDM and showcase the different benefits of ABDM for both patients and providers.

• Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission implemented the first Microsite pilot in Mumbai, Maharashtra in October 2022. Similarly, 2 more Microsite pilots were initiated in Gujarat at Ahmedabad and Surat in March 2023. With the encouraging response from these pilot Microsites, NHA conceptualized the ‘100 Microsite Project’ where 100 such Microsites would be established across the country and focused efforts would be made to bring all healthcare entities under the ABDM fold.

Digital Health:

Digital health refers to the use of information and communication technologies in medicine and other health professions to manage illnesses, and health risks and to promote wellness.

Overall, digital health is being used worldwide to

- Improve access to healthcare

- Improve the quality of care

- Lower the cost of healthcare

- Provide more personalized health care for patients

- Create longitudinal health records.

Job Description:

• Mapping list of private hospitals in the ABDM Microsite working area.

• Establish linkages with health care providers in the ABDM Microsite working area.

• Creating awareness among healthcare providers about ABDM and its associated benefits.

• Health facility registration: Registration of the health facility on the health facility registry (HFR) in the Microsite.

• Healthcare professional registration: Registration of the healthcare professional(s) working at the facility on the healthcare professional’s registry (HPR) in Microsite.

• Deployment of ABDM-enabled Digital Health Solution: Implementation of an ABDM-enabled digital health solution at the health facility.

• Active usage of ABDM-enabled Digital Health Solution: Encourage healthcare providers to actively use the ABDM-enabled digital health solution in their daily operations.

• Sensitization of doctors and onboarding them on ABDM.

• Supporting healthcare professionals and their ancillary staff with HFR and HPR populations.

• Deployment of ABDM-enabled solutions at facilities.

• Generation of ABHA-linked records etc.

• Attending staff review meetings.

• Travel to working area/health care providers: Hospitals, Clinics, Pharmacies and laboratories.

• Documentation.

• Timely submission of monthly program performance data in reporting format.

• Provide data/information required for preparing monthly reports.

• Take up any other work assigned by the Team Leader or Project Director.

Desired qualification and experience:

• Graduate in social work, health, or development field (or equivalent)

• 0-3 years of relevant project management and/or experience in the health or development sectors in a leadership role.

• Experience in public health programs.

• Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills in Tamil and English.

• Applicants must have a two-wheeler and should have a valid license.

COMPENSATION

Compensation levels at GRAMODAYA are equivalent to market rates within the development sector. However, offers shall be based on salary history, relevant experience, and qualifications.
