Role Overview:
As the Mobilization Officer, you will be a key member of the Central Management Team, responsible for strategizing and implementing mobilization plans to ensure that all centers meet their student intake targets for each cohort. You will work closely with center teams, local community leaders, and government stakeholders to engage communities effectively. The Mobilization Officer will mentor and track on-ground Mobilizers, provide strategic support, and ensure the smooth functioning of mobilization activities across all centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Mobilization Strategy Development & Execution:
Design and implement mobilization strategies tailored to the specific needs of each center.
Work closely with center teams to ensure they meet the student intake targets for each cohort.
Identify and leverage opportunities to engage community members and leaders for student enrollment.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
Represent CF’s vision and mission effectively to all external stakeholders.
Organize and attend community meetings to build awareness of the Apni Kutir centers.
Mentoring and Monitoring Mobilizers:
Track the performance of on-ground Mobilizers at each center, ensuring they are meeting their objectives.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and regular feedback to center-based Mobilizers to enhance their effectiveness.
Conduct regular meetings with center teams to assess challenges, review progress, and update strategies.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare timely and accurate reports on mobilization activities and outcomes.
Use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to track data, prepare reports, and present strategies.
Field Visits & Collaboration:
Travel to field locations 3-4 days a week to oversee mobilization efforts, meet with teams, and address any on-ground challenges.
Collaborate with the central and center-based teams to continuously improve mobilization strategies and address challenges.
Key Requirements:
1. Strong communication skills in Hindi, Bengali, and English (written and spoken).
2. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
3. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be proactive.
4. Willingness to travel frequently to various field locations.
5. Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Good interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
7. Innovative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience in community mobilization, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role.
3. Experience working with NGOs or in community-driven projects is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time, Field travel required (3-4 days/week)
Compensation: INR 16,000-18,000 as per experience
