Navjyoti India Foundation, a not-for-profit society, was established in 1988 by 16 serving officers of the Delhi Police under the leadership of Dr. Kiran Bedi, India's first female IPS officer, with the primary aim of preventing crime through welfare policing.
For the past 36 years, we have dedicated ourselves to driving positive behavioral change and improving the lives of underserved communities, particularly in the urban slums of northwest Delhi and rural and peri-urban areas of Gurugram, Haryana. Our inclusive, bottom-up approach to development has impacted millions of lives, fostering sustainable change through our initiatives in Child Education, Women Empowerment, Youth Skill Upgradation, Community Development, and Environmental Conservation.

Salary- INR 480000 per annum CTC

Job Summary:
The Coordinator - Information, Education and Communication(IEC) is responsible for organizing and managing various events and campaigns to enhance the visibility of projects. This role involves planning, executing, and overseeing events and campaigns that align with the organization's mission, as well as creating engaging social media content to increase outreach and awareness. The coordinator ensures that all events and campaigns effectively communicate the project's objectives, reach the target audience, and contribute to the organization's broader goals of community engagement and impact.
The position requires excellent event planning and organizational skills to effectively coordinate and execute a wide range of events and campaigns. Strong proficiency in video and photo documentation, including expertise in using relevant equipment and editing software, is essential to accurately capture and showcase the impact of these initiatives. The coordinator should possess outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and ensure seamless coordination. Additionally, the role demands keen attention to detail, effective time management skills, and the ability to strategically align all activities with the organization's overarching goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure successful planning, organizing, and execution of events, meeting timelines and objectives.
• Ensure strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of impactful campaigns in the community to achieve organizational goal.
• Capture and produce high-quality visual content to effectively showcase events and campaigns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders for effective event collaboration.
• Prepare detailed reports and analyze event and campaign outcomes for insights.
Skills required:
• Communication & Outreach: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft messages that inspire and engage the community.
• Event & Campaign Planning: Strong organizational and event management skills with the ability to handle logistics, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
• Content Creation & Social Media: Proficiency in creating and promoting content across various media platforms, especially for social media outreach.
• Media Production: Expertise in video and editing software to produce high-quality documentation.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups including partners, sponsors, and community members.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to evaluate the success of campaigns and events through data analysis and reporting.
