Shivi Development Society (SDS) is a non-profit civil society organization, which undertakesand facilitates development processes that positively impact the lives of poor and most marginalized sections of the society. SDS works on the issues of human rights and good governance, public affairs, child rights, and promotes people’s participation with gender as across-cutting theme.

Major Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement community outreach programs focused on women’s human rights, ensuring alignment with SDS’s project mission.

• Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.

• Prepare and present reports on project progress.

• Conduct policy analysis, advocate for human rights policies, and lobby with government departments and other stakeholders.

• Handle research and documentation related to human rights case stories.

• Lead initiatives to raise awareness about women’s human rights.

• Plan and manage events, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Facilitate training and workshops on human rights and gender-sensitive practices.

• Demonstrate strong intrapersonal skills and maintain good human relationships.

• Provide full support to the team; promote a collaborative environment to enhance program effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Master in relevant field.

• A minimum 3 years experience in the development sector is essential.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Hindi is required

• Frequent traveling is required.

Remuneration: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
