Urgent Vacancy with Digambarpur Angikar: Three years Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights [SRHR] Project in Sundarban deltaic region, West Bengal, India.

Organization: Digambarpur Angikar is a Govt registered Social Welfare Organization, established in the year 1979 and presently working on different issues : Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights, Community Health, WASH , Livelihood Development, Child Protection through Institutional & Non Institutional services, Education , Anti Human trafficking, SWM and Disaster Risk Management.

Vision of the Organization: :Visualized an egalitarian society where people irrespective of caste, creed & religion can enjoy their basic human rights with equal access to resources for quality in life and livelihood.

Mission of the Organization: Strengthen empowerment process of the most vulnerable women and children, so that they can realize and protect their basic human rights.

We are partnering with: State and Central Govt, Govt Autonomous Body, Reputed Corporate and Foreign Donor Agency.

Types of Employment: Digambarpur Angikar is inviting resume from suitable candidates [sex: Male, Female] for the following positions. Project location is: Patharpratima Block, South 24 Parganas & Sandeshkhali-I Block, North 24 Parganas District.

Type of Employment:

A. Project Manager: 1 position. Desired Qualification & experience: MSW or Social science background with more than 12 years’ experience on project lead work focusing on community health, Sexual health, Social Marketing, lobby and advocacy with Govt with sound knowledge on project implementations and computer.

B. M&E Officer -Cum Communication Officer: 1 Position. Desired Qualification & experience: Social science or Computer background with more than 8 years’ experience on project documentation [preferably on health sector] , process reporting, Case study preparation, IEC development and data management. Sound knowledge on computer and handling Social media is must.

C. Advocacy Manager: 1 Position: Desired Qualification & experience: Social science or Law background with more than 5 years’ experience on Advocacy and Lobby Work with Government, preferably with health sectors. Clear understand of existing Health Policy, its functionaries and different level stakeholders.

D. Project consultant: 2 Position, Desired Qualification & experience: Preference will be given to retired senior level Government employees/officials from Health Departments. Govt of West Bengal.

E. Admin cum Accountan:1 Position: Desired Qualification & experience: B.Com /M.com with sound Knowledge on excel and Tally Software. At least 6 years Accounts and admin related working experience with any reputed NGO or establishment.

F. Project Supervisor: 2 Position: Desired Qualification & experience: Graduate /Social Science background with 3 to 5 years’ working experience on health related projects. Experience on monitoring team, organizing community level events, interaction with adolescent & women, linkages with local stakeholders and data collection/Compilation.

G. Community Social Worker: 10 position: Desired Qualification & experience: 10+2 standard/ Graduate background with 2 to 3 working experience on NGO works. Experience on home visits, organizing community level events, interaction with adolescents and women community. Preference will be given to local candidates.

H. Office Assistant: 1 Position: Desired Qualification & experience: 10+2 standard/ graduate background. Working experience on NGO and Office support works.
