Progressive Foundation is working to Scale up and improve quality of implementation of Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and Early Growth Faltering (EGF) program in the state of Uttar Pradesh. We support the implementation of the program in two pilot districts of Uttar Pradesh, Shravasti & Gorakhpur. We facilitate timely screening and management of Acute Malnourished children by the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and Health Systems. We support the demonstration of convergent programming between the departments of Health and ICDS in the intervention districts and strengthen the Centre of Excellence to provide Technical Assistance to the district. It will ensure prevention and treatment protocols integrated into the existing platforms of Home Based Newborn Care (HBNC) and Home-Based Care for Young Child Program (HBYC) for children under six months. This nutrition project will support Intervention Districts in implementing a comprehensive approach to reduce acute malnutrition.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Formulating, implementing, and monitoring the project work plan.
• Coordinating with ICDS, Health Department, and State Resource Center for Nutrition, to implement the intervention
• Managing your team and monitoring their performances.
• Submitting weekly and monthly reports to headquarters.
• Representing PF (Progressive Foundation) at various meetings and forums at the district level including District Program Officer, and Chief Medical Officer.
• Assessing the impact of planned activities at the multiple levels.
• Collecting the field data on a regular basis and analyzing the impact of the intervention.
• Delivering training/capacity building on CMAM program to stakeholders and team.
• Creating presentations, excel reports, charts, and MOMs (Minutes of the Meeting).
• Reporting to the State Program Head.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Master's degree in social work, public health, or a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in the development sector (capacity building a plus).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi (written and spoken) preferred.
• Two-wheeler with valid license required (regular travel within the district).
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,
• Proficiency & Competency in data analysis is preferred.
