Position – Master Trainer

Location: Baran-Rajasthan & Bhupalpally-Telangana

Reporting to: State Head based out of the Rajasthan & Telangana

Scope of Work: Master Trainer

For our USAID supported program (August-2024 to September-2027) in Rajasthan & Telangana, SWIT is looking for skilled trainers & education experts, to support in delivering training to CDPOs, Supervisors & AWWs participating in the project & also do monitoring of the quality level delivery in the Anganwadi centres, community & block/cluster level. Master Trainer would be required to prepare for and conduct trainings as per the guidelines provided and submit reports at the end of the trainings. Master Trainer would be required to:

A. Content inputs & preparation

a. Support the SWI team in preparing training modules, educational frameworks, and related content

b. Support SWI team Research (Need assessment, baseline study and endline study)

B. Conduct training:

a. Work closely with the content expert and program manager & training expert to ensure that required training resources are available in preparation of the training, in time

b. Conduct trainings and over-see delivery of all trainings

c. Ensure all training related documentation (participant’s list, expense reports, etc.) are in place and submitted in time

C. Undertake Documentation and Reporting

a. Ensure that the training pre/post test, feedback is collected, collated, analyzed, and is used back for improving other training

b. Submit training reports as per program needs

D. Monitoring

a. Handholding and supportive supervision visits to the Anganwadi Centre/Block/Community for quality check and validation of project MIS data and technical support to the field team (AWC Coordinator/Field Coordinator).

b. Ensure to visit minimum 3 to 4 AWCs in a day.

c. Accountable for the quality training delivery and proper utilization of TLMs at AWCs.

d. Handholding support to the team related to Block/Cluster level meeting, AWWs conducting Parent Teacher Meetings, child-level assessments, and community engagements.

e. Develop and strengthen monitoring, data verification/validation, and evaluation procedures.

f. Support in development of project-specific monitoring information system, results framework with indicators along with formats for data entry, progress and summary reports.

g. To monitor processes and analyze program implementation on monthly basis with their teams and Programme Managers on the basis of the curriculum and need-based yearly objectives

h. Monitor & accountable for all project activities and progress on output and outcome.

i. To guide the team members in program delivery through meetings, training sessions, etc and resolve issues related to the team as and when required.

j. Accountable for the training pre/post test, feedback is collected, collated, analyzed, and is used back for improving other training.

An ideal candidate will have the following

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, Early childhood education, psychology, Social Work or related field, or additional 5-7 years’ work experience in the field.

• Experience of planning and delivering trainings (especially with government stakeholders) is must

• Experience of working in specific state & with ICDS (Ministry of WCD).

• Experience of working with children is highly valued.

Travel requirement:

• Willingness to travel for work requirements

• Highly organized, energetic, motivated, and committed

• Expertise in Local Language (Hindi & Telegu) and English is a must.
