A short summary about the Project

MANDI 2.0 will support 135 FPOs across Madhya Pradesh and Assam to provide the secondary level push to help overcome these bottlenecks and facilitate transition of the FPOs to the next level of growth trajectory. At least 50% of membership of these FPOs will be women farmers and at least 30% of the FPOs will be women-led. The Board of Directors and identified FPOs will be provided with training in three modules - Go to Market, Access to finance and Gender integration & women’s leadership development. These will be supplemented with linkages and negotiations with input suppliers, other service providers, buyers, aggrotech platforms, government departments, banks and other financial institutions resulting in transactions and operational contracts of FPOs with these ecosystem players.

Responsibilities:

• Market mapping for various FPO crops/products.

• Training calendar design and conducting training on market aspects.

• Season wise marketing plan preparation and execution.

• Establishing partnerships with market players.

• Facilitating dialogue between market players and FPOs.

• Support in organizing buyer seller meet and trade fair exposure visits.

• Building linkages with financial institutions for FPO financing.

• Reporting and MIS coordination.

• Any other task assigned by the programme head.

Education & Experience:

Agri Graduate + MBA with minimum 10 years’ experience in Agri & allied products marketing and working with FPOs or similar institutions.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon experience set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organization.
