Position Summary
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Extract project data from multiple sources using automation tools and techniques.
2. Build systems to translate raw data into valuable insights.
3. Understand and grasp the project needs, objectives and key operational considerations of all KEF projects.
4. Automate the project performance scorecard.
5. Offer support to projects to leverage data for operational/management decision-making.
6. Map and identify opportunities with project teams to have data-driven systems and processes (end-to-end execution).
7. Drive data quality throughout the projects.
8. Perform data analysis to discover patterns, draw conclusions and produce periodic reports for projects and management to help decisions.
9. Develop and test data modelling for specific project problems.
10. Coordinate with the IT team for technical and technology-related efficiencies for projects.
11. Review current processes, develop new processes or procedures based on project-specific data analytics.
12. Address demand and organize capacity-building sessions for project staff on utilization of effective data analytics.
13. Develop data analysis process flow diagram and reporting flow charts for tracking and follow-ups.
14. Perform project cost analysis and link with project operational activities.
15. Support Project Head in making feasible recommendations through financial analysis and forecasting.
16. Explain complex data in simple terms for project staff and other non-technical stakeholders.
17. Regular tracking of project KPIs.
Candidate Specifications:
Educational Qualifications : Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering, Data management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Demography, Population and Development studies.
Years of Experience : 7–10 years of working experience in the field of education database management, preferably with urban school education systems/any large-volume database used for ML-based predictions.
Work Skills :
1) Equipped with predictive analytical techniques.
2) Hands-on with various statistical tools (SAS, SPSS and STATA), Database language skills like SQL, R and Python, Google Cloud data platforms.
4) Problem identification and solving skills through database mining.
5) Time series-based data analysis.
6) Database visualization tools - Tableau, Power BI or Google Data Studio
Other Skills :
1) Good communication skills.
2) Strong computer and technology skills, familiarity with computer & web-based applications.
3) Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
4) Problem resolution aptitude.

Job Specifications :
Nature of job : Permanent
Location : HO – Mumbai (Chembur). The job may involve travelling to other locations beyond Mumbai.
Hours of work : 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
Working conditions : This job will also involve working in challenging community areas with infrastructural and other disadvantages.
