Junior Microbiologist (Non-Medical), PM-ABHIM,NCDC Cell, MoHFW
National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above mentioned post purely on contractual basis.
Position: 02
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Work in co-ordination with Senior Microbiologist (Non-Medical).
2. Prepare documents and maintain records pertaining to establishment of BSL-3 laboratories
3. Communicate with Executing agencies and all stakeholders associated with establishment of BSL-3 facility regularly
4. Monitor construction of BSL-3 facility and conduct site visits when needed.
5. Closely monitor implementation of BSL-3 designs and specifications by the executing agencies by holding regular meetings
6. Monitor budget release, transfer and utilization by the executing agencies
7. Co-ordinate meetings of the BSL-3 expert committees regularly, maintain records of discussion and work for implementation of its recommendations.
8. Prepare documents and SOPs for BSL-3 laboratories
8. Carry out regular trainings (induction and continuous)
9. Any other duties assigned by BSL-3 nodal officer from time to time
Essential qualification:
• Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Microbiology /Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Sciences;
• Must be Pro?cient in computer applications (MS- Word, Excel, and Power point).
Experience (Years): Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in high containment facility/ clinical microbiology laboratory services/ public health program after obtaining the post graduate degree.
Desirable: Experience of working in BSL-3/4 facility during establishment or post commissioning
Age limit: Not more than 45 years.
Remuneration Range: Rs. 1,20,000/- per month.
Reporting Officer: OIC/PM-ABHIM.
Place of posting: NCDC, Delhi.
