Key Responsibilities
• Social Media Management: Develop and implement strategies to grow Janpahal’s
presence across platforms, engage the audience, and raise awareness about labour
rights issues.
• Creative Design: Produce visually appealing materials, such as banners, posters,
leaflets, booklets and social media posts, for events, campaigns, and advocacy efforts.
• Content Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create impactful stories,
blogs, and articles that communicate Janpahal’s achievements and mission.
• Communication Strategies: Assist in planning and executing effective campaigns that
amplify the organization’s advocacy efforts and proote awareness initiatives.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure a cohesive visual and messaging style across all
communications.
• Documentation: Capture and document success stories, case studies, and program
highlights in coordination with program teams.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze communication metrics, providing datadriven recommendations for improvement.
• Website Maintenance and Design: Manage and update Janpahal’s website on Wix,
ensuring content is current, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Design, Journalism, Social Work, Development
Studies, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience (freshers are also welcome to apply).
• Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
• Experience in content creation, storytelling, and designing communication materials.
• Strong writing skills, with proficiency in crafting compelling, clear, and concise content
across various formats (blogs, articles, social media posts, etc.).
• Commitment to labour rights, advocacy, and social justice.
Desirable Attributes
• Experience working with NGOs or labour-based organizations.
• Basic understanding of issues faced by informal sector workers.
• Skills in photography and video editing are a plus.
Compensation
Rs 2,50,000 to Rs 3,60,000 per annum (yearly CTC), based on experience and qualifications.
