TERMS OF REFERENCE

1.BACKGROUND/RATIONALE

India has demonstrated a strong commitment to embracing the UN's Development Agenda for 2016- 2030, "Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development."

UN ORGANISATION has consistently invested in evidence-based advocacy to influence health policy and programs, bolstering its credibility as a stakeholder in the health sector by providing technical advice based on data and evidence.

Multiple data sources within India's health sector are available, spanning community and facility levels. Leveraging these diverse information sources, the services of an individual contractor are sought to deliver comprehensive data analysis, visualisation, and triangulation.

This will facilitate the preparation of advocacy documents and knowledge products to influence the decisions of policymakers and implementers. UN ORGANISATION's support for continuing RMNCH+A services will emphasise robust data collection and tracking, data analysis, and technical support for field offices in utilising data for advocacy, online monitoring, and coordination with other partners.

Furthermore, UN ORGANISATION will continue to invest in the expanded use of tools for Real-Time Monitoring (RTM) and other digital health tools to address programming gaps.
