Duty Station: New Delhi/Greater Noida
Duration of the contract: Till March 2026 (extension based on performance/project extension)
Remuneration: Rs. 40,000 – 50,000 (Based on experience, skills, and qualifications.)
About the Project:
Centre for Environment Education is implementing several projects related to waste management with special emphasis on dry & plastic waste management. This project aims to minimize negative impacts and risks to the environment and human health in both rural and urban and promote a ZERO WASTE MODEL APPROACH - zero landfills, zero plastic burning and zero Emissions, and Zero wastages in Dry waste management in India. The strategy is to have a multi-stakeholders approach through an integrated model directed to address immediate causes by establishing a Swachh Sustainable Business Models (SSBMs) for improved dry & plastic waste management by establishing – DRY WASTE Material Recovery Facilities as Swachh Centres (SCs), in line with the emerging MOEFCC GOI “National Resource Efficiency Policy” and the “National Materials Recycling Policy”.
Job role:
The Project Executive – Reporting & Monitoring will be responsible for the monitoring & evaluation and reporting activities of the Project; assisting the Project Officer – Reporting and Traceability in preparing Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project and will be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities.
The Project Executive - Reporting & Monitoring will work in close collaboration with the project team, implementing partners and the donor.
Qualifications and experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences/Social work/Environment Science with 2-3 years of M&E experience will be an add-on advantage. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
Good data interpreter, analytical, reporting writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills on the impacts from project.
Scope of Work:
• Support in establishing processes and systems for effective reporting & traceability as per the framework developed under the project
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reporting formats are in place and followed on the progress of activities as per the approved work plan
• Facilitate and coordinate with the field team and implementing partners to collate the reports.
• Meet the requirements of the management as per the donors’ needs for data.
• Collect data related to project activities, including but not limited to waste collection, recycling initiatives, community engagements etc.
• Conduct field visits to project sites to gather information and monitor progress.
• Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports on project performance and impact.
• Support in maintaining an up-to-date database of project activities, beneficiaries, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with project staff and service providers (partners) to ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors and stakeholders.
• Assist in organizing team meetings, reviews, workshops, and training sessions related to monitoring and reporting.
• Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time by the senior management.
