POSITION(S) VACANT: Senior Project Coordinator, Sahyog Care for You Delhi (One Vacancy- female)

2. ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND:

Sahyog Care for You’ as the name signifies, reaches out its hand on the strong belief of “extend, lend & mend”, to create strong and proactive relationships with the community. Sahyog strongly adheres to the thought of “When you care enough, you give the best “and has consistently ventured for the last 20 years on the same and aims to do so in the future. Sahyog has consciously selected the most vulnerable of the community i.e. the women and children. Sahyog clearly understands the scenario and empathizes with children, Youth, and women specifically the community by enlarging. Sahyog, through its endeavors, has touched and extended its supportive hand to almost 1 Lac child, 4000 Youths, and 14,000 women. These efforts range from the provision of basic education for the children, inclusive of skill training to them and their parents Sahyog, then tries to subtly and smoothly introduce these children to mainstream society. Generating awareness amongst the parents and community to ensure protection from abuse and exploitation is yet another aspect that Sahyog takes up on a consistent basis as an important issue. Sahyog has also been working with underprivileged women in slums and resettlement colonies through Women’s Literacy Programs, Women’s Self-Help Groups, Women’s Vocational Programs, Women’s Health and hygiene, Mahila Panchayat, Armed forces etc. We took off by translating our thoughts into action on the field by working in Delhi NCR and have now spread to Delhi NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Apart from working in these States, we also aim to extend our efforts further, aiming to make the women and children of our community the strongest section of society.

JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sahyog Care for You is looking to hire an accomplished Senior Project Coordinator

to lead corporate projects operations in India. The selected candidate should have a deep understanding of the corporate implementation ecosystem and will identify, initiate and close new opportunities for short- and long-term projects for Sahyog Care for You.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement Sahyog Care for You strategy for projects received from corporates and corporate foundations;

2. Build and manage new partnerships with large corporates and corporate foundations before, during, and after the receipt of funds;

3. Forge long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with business houses for ongoing Sahyog Care for You projects;

4. Undertake market research and maintain and track a portfolio of existing and potential donor companies and organizations. Developing and taking responsibility for executing and implementing plans for these organizations;

5. Develop and articulate professional proposals at senior-level meetings.

6. Handle all operational processes relating to the role viz. fund release, reporting, communication, documentation, presentations, etc.;

7. Initiate and support specific, India-based B2B activities, that will motivate major prospective corporates to approach Sahyog Care for You for renewable partnership projects.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications:

Applicants should be a post-graduation or equivalent/graduation in marketing, international development, business administration, or a degree in social sciences or a relevant discipline

Experience:

(1) 5+ years of experience in a similar role. Demonstrated success in maturing large ticket and long-term corporate partnerships, is essential;

(2) Sharp understanding of the corporate implementation projects landscape in India.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Excellent English written and oral communication skills, including presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;

2. Result oriented with a strong commitment to Sahyog Care for You cause of sustainable development;

3. Demonstrated track record of maintaining key donor relationships, as well as establishing new partnerships;

4. Successful record of writing and maturing corporate fundraising proposals and applications;

5. Expertise in creating and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations;

6. Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines;

7. Highly disciplined with the ability to work independently.

COMPENSATION OFFERED:

The gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
