About the Project: CYDA Aurangabad is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gender Trainer for our Non-Traditional Livelihood (NTL) project. This project is designed to empower women through training and opportunities in non-traditional sectors, fostering gender equality and economic independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver comprehensive gender training sessions to program participants.
• Provide individual and group counselling to women, addressing gender-related issues and challenges.
• Support field activities by mobilizing women and engaging with the community.
• Assist in recruiting and orienting women participants for the NTL program.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
• Develop training materials and resources tailored to the needs of the participants.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of gender training sessions and counselling services.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, counselling sessions, and participant progress.
• Collaborate with the project team to address any gender-related concerns and ensure a supportive environment for all participants.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in gender training and women's counselling.
• Strong understanding of gender issues and challenges faced by women in non-traditional fields.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with program participants and community members.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for women's empowerment and gender equality.
• Proficiency in local languages and dialects is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Female candidates preferred.
