Role Overview:
The Head of Paediatric Palliative Care Services will oversee the development and management of palliative care programs across India. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, driving innovation, and integrating palliative care into paediatric oncology and primary healthcare systems to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, oversee, and expand Paediatric palliative care programs across all Cankids Hospital Support Unit partnership projects.
• Integrate Paediatric Palliative care with Paediatric Oncology, Primary Health Care, and comprehensive Paediatric care.
• Collaborate with hospitals, NGOs, and Government bodies.
• Manage and run Subhita -India’s only standalone Paediatric Palliative centre in New Delhi.
• Lead research, innovation, and capacity building in Paediatric Palliative Care in Pan India.
• Lead a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, holistic care.
• Support Chairman in her role as IAPC central council member
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Manage the budget for the palliative care program, including resource allocation and financial planning.
• Prepare and present reports on program performance, patient outcomes, and other key metrics to senior management.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including insurance providers and community organizations, to support program goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience: 3-4 years in palliative care or related fields with leadership roles in healthcare settings.
• Skills: Clinical expertise, strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Education: Medical degree with a specialization in paediatric palliative care (preferred).
Key Deliverables:
• Expansion of paediatric palliative care programs and seamless integration into healthcare systems.
• Effective management of Subhita with high-quality care delivery.
• Timely reporting on program performance and financials.
• Successful stakeholder engagement and collaborations.
Salary:
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
