VACANCY 

Position: Programme Manager, Mumbai. 

Naraindas Morbai Budhrani Trust is active in the field of social development through various initiatives across the country.  Since its inception from 2002, a low profile and committed support has been the way of contributing in our own way to the needy sections of the society.

All our projects aim at bringing about a visible change in the lives of programme participants with primary focus on poor and marginalized. We aim at bringing about sustainable change through various initiatives of ensuring health, education and poverty alleviation in various states.

We reach to the needy sections of society through Counselling, Financial assistance to address medical need for ailments like Cancer, Eye Care, Heart Care, Disability, food support for destitute and educational assistance, through relevant, well – established, like minded organizations / Charitable hospitals / institutions across India. 

Our programmes in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Odisha, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Uttarkhand, and Himachal Pradesh calls for periodic Monitoring & Evaluation engagement. This programme is also poised to grow in coming times. 

Role Description

The person to work independently with the direction of the COO and the Trustee.

He / she is expected to do assessment, monitoring, performance evaluation of all the NMBT projects across India.

Identify new projects to contribute in the social development in line with the objectives of the trust.

Based in Mumbai but the role incurs extensive travelling across India in rural, urban slums and tribal area.

Core Function and responsibility:

Identifying relevant projects, new ideas in line with the objectives of the trust. Environment scanning, identifying areas / projects for NMBT's intervention. Planning and supporting networking efforts.

Programme management, grant making, assessing and providing inputs for capacity building needs in thematic and systemic areas through quality monitoring and evaluation.

Design, plan and develop project to bring in positive social change

Financial management, Prepare annual budget and monitor the same. Financial statement analysis of all the project directly implemented by the organization and in collaboration with different stakeholders.

Supportive supervision of each team member working under different projects. Motivating and managing the team involved in different project is imperative.   

Experience and qualification:

Post Graduate in Social Work/ Rural Development / Health Management / Social Entrepreneurship / Management from a reputed institute.

Experience in result-based programming and monitoring is preferred. 10 years’ experience in the field of Social development sector, having experience in planning, monitoring and evaluating projects, interfacing with the government and other stakeholders.

Proactive, ability to independently analyze and focus on outcome will be required to fulfil the role.

Fair idea of programme monitoring tools, framework and should be able to do Independent Assessment of all the programmes.

Strong documentation and reporting skills are required. MoU drafting, visit reports, periodicals etc.

We believe that a self-motivated person positive attitude with ability of setting goals beyond capacity can do justice to this role

Skills:

Team work, proactive, capacity to set and manage accountability of self and others in the team.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing in English and Hindi

Basic computer skills i.e. MS office

Work in cohesion with the team and stakeholders
