Project Manager – (Consultant) 

Family Planning Association of India (FPA India) 

Location: Kalamboli- Panvel, Navi Mumbai   

Qualification:  Post-graduation in Social Work/Social Science/ Business Administration /Preventive & Social Medicine/Public Health/ Medical degree 

Experience: Minimum five years of experience in managing development sector projects on Health / Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights / HIV Prevention 

Reporting to: Project Manager – FPA India Headquarters 

About the role:

The person will be overall in-charge of the of the truckers’ physiotherapy and sexual reproductive health project being implemented at Kalamboli.

He/ She will responsible for :

Ensuring smooth functioning of the project.

All project related reporting including monthly, quarterly and annual reports- Narrative as well as MIS.

Make a work plan as per agreement and beneficiary reach with specified deliverables

Ensure project activities are carried out as per plan and timeframe.

Supporting in developing IEC material and in demand generation / awareness activities.

Regularly monitoring the project progress, evaluate it on intervals to optimize the deliverables.

Support appointments of consultants as and when required as per SOPs of HQ. 

Inductions and trainings under the project for new team members at the location.  

Ensuring partnerships with stakeholders.

Coordinating with Project Manager at HQ for project related legal documentation, such as leave and license agreement, project agreement when needed.

Supporting in local purchase processes.

Coordinate with Project Manager at HQ for financial records as per FPAI SOPs and donor requirements.

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and qualification.

In 1947, when India became independent, fertility was high with couples averaging six children. The population was burgeoning, public health facilities were minimal and life expectancy was low.
