Job Description

* The Medical Officer will be responsible for below mentioned responsibilities:-

1. Handling IPD/OPD patients in Hospital.

2. Examining and managing patients.

3. Prescribing Medicines.

4. Guiding paramedics and pharmacist.

Administrative & Managerial work:-

• Conduct regular OPD duties as per visit roster .

• To direct, supervise and coordinate the medical activities .

• Ensure regular OPD of Health Unit Protocols are being followed by the nurses & other medical staffs.

• Regulate OPD/IPD, Instruct the nursing & Medical staff about the necessary orders to be carried out and followed.

• To provide the primary health care facility to the community. Community health services.

• Time to time implement the government health programs also in community level.

• Medical Officer (Doctor) based in nearby locations, if interested to give the service, will be preferred.

* Maintain the confidentiality of the patient data and adhere the IPHS norms for the treatment.

* Ensure that documents like OPD, medicines and patients cards etc. are updated and maintained regularly.

ELIGIBILITY:-

• Must have MBBS and should be registered under the MCI
