Activities

Promotion of High Value Agriculture, Production Enhancement of Staple Crops, Upland Horticulture, Poly House Nurseries Development with Grafting Technologies, NTFP - LAC Rearing, Animal Husbandry Improvement etc.

Position - Field Cluster Coordinator

Gender - Female or Male Candidate

Job Location - Rania Block, Khunti District

Roles and Responsibilities –

• Coordinating with farmers and providing them with training in agricultural practices to ensure good agricultural practices are being followed.

• Promoting Dry land cultivation such as High Value Agriculture, Horticulture, Pulses and Paddy cultivation with all the farmers.

• Cultivation and value chain positioning of Paddy, Millet, Tomato, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Garden Pea, Water Melon, Bottle Gourd, Chili & Other High value vegetables and pulses& Lac Cultivation.

• Formation of farmers group and mobilizing all the groups into Farmer Producer Organization.

• Collaboration with govt. departments in the district and block.

• Introducing climate resilient agriculture project.

• Promoting NTFP – Lac Cultivation activities

• Promoting NTFP – Animal Husbandry activities

• Preparing Daily Progress Report, project proposals, maintaining MIS.

• Preparing Project for landless families.

Education Qualification, Skills, and Experience

Minimum Qualification:

M.Sc. in Agriculture and allied sciences or equivalent / MBA Rural Management, Post Graduate in Rural Development/Management, Master in Social Work or equivalent

Work experience in years:

Minimum 2 years of field experience in related sector in Agriculture and Allied-agriculture activities.

Experience Candidate Preferable

Technical Skill Sets:

• Prior experience in managing agriculture and Allied-agriculture activities

• Strong communication (English and Hindi) and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with farmers and other stakeholders.

Other Skill Sets: Can ride Two-wheeler

Compensation –CTC 4.80 lakh per annum
