District Programme Manager (Eye Health)

Accountable to: You will report to the Hospital Administrator, Vimla Ramkrishna Bajaj Eye Hospital

Salary range: Gross Up to Rs. 3.6 Lakh p.a. plus travelling allowance as per actual

About the organization

Nav Bharat Jagriti Kendra (NBJK), a renowned NGO and working for past 50 years in Jharkhand and Bihar in the field of Education, Health, Micro Finance, Livelihood programme and other activities requires. NBJK established Vimla Ramkrishna Bajaj Eye Hospital at Deoghar (Jharkhand) in 2021. This is the fourth charitable eye hospital established and being run by NBJK in Jharkhand and Bihar. Under the community eye health, we are running Vision Centers in different blocks of Deoghar, Giridih, and Jamui District. Also we are organizing eye screening camps in villages, and have volunteers in different villages who refer patients to the eye hospital for cataract and other surgeries.

Key Skills & Expectations

• MBA/PGDRM with at least 2 years of experience.

• Good liaising skills with the government officials

• Good liaising skills with the ASHA/Sahiya, and community volunteers to keep motivating them to refer patients to the eye hospitals

• Ability to achieve targets assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Managing vision centers team and working toward increasing footfall in vision center and increasing revenue of vision centers.

• Managing outreach eye screening camps teams, and door-to-door eye screening teams of the hospital, ensuring the target of free surgeries is achieved in time from Deoghar, Giridih, Jamui and Banka districts.

• Preparing plan, reports in excel, and word

• Intensive Field Visit by Bike, at least 15 days in a month.
