About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Lead to oversee and implement a Children Sponsorship Program in Delhi. The role requires strong leadership, program management, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring & evaluation skills to ensure the successful execution of sponsorship-related activities, improving the lives of children and their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and management of child sponsorship initiatives in collaboration with the organization's mission and goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with sponsors, donors, government bodies, and community stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery.
Team Management: Supervise and support field coordinators, social workers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project guidelines.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Establish and implement a robust system for tracking the progress of sponsored children and program impact.
Child Well-Being & Safeguarding: Ensure adherence to child protection policies and create a safe environment for children.
Budget & Resource Management: Oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources for maximum impact.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare periodic reports, case studies, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions for staff and community volunteers to enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in social work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in project management, preferably in child sponsorship or community development programs.
Strong understanding of child rights, education, and community engagement frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, data management, and impact assessment tools.
Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, or government agencies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in challenging field conditions.
