Job Title: Female Trainer – Health and Gender (Part-time / Full-time / Consultant)
Location: Gurugram
About the Role:
Sukarya is looking for an experienced and passionate Female Trainer to conduct training sessions on Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health (ARSH) and Gender Rights with adolescent girls (ages 10–19 years). The trainer will deliver sessions on key issues including menstrual hygiene, family life education, gender equality, and adolescent health, helping girls build confidence, knowledge, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate training sessions with adolescent girls on themes including:
1. Adolescent health and nutrition
2. Reproductive and sexual health
3. Menstrual hygiene management
4. Family life education
5. Gender equality and rights
• Use participatory, interactive training methods to encourage discussion and engagement.
• Support the design and adaptation of training modules and resource materials.
• Monitor and document training sessions, including reporting feedback and outcomes.
• Work closely with the Gender Program team for planning and delivery.
Qualification and Experience:
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Psychology, Gender Studies, or Public Health from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the development/NGO sector as a trainer or resource person, especially with adolescents.
• Prior experience in conducting gender and health-related training is essential.
Key Competencies:
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in Hindi and English.
• Ability to guide, motivate, and mentor adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using MS Office and digital tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
