India has the largest youth population in the world with 70% of the population below the age of 35 years, undoubtedly a vital “demographic dividend” since this is the most productive age group. Rural youth comprise two and a half times the urban youth in India. However, the rural youth lack access to resources, relevant information and knowledge to envision a stable future for themselves.
In many of our interactions with the rural youth we found out that the problem with the rural youth that act as major barrier to their socioeconomic development is lack of knowledge, information as well as guidance regarding higher studies and career prospective.
To counter this problem, we conduct career counseling sessions for educated youth in our centers. In these centers, our expert career counselors counsel the students on the various subjects or courses that can be chosen post completion of secondary and senior secondary and graduation. Our career counselors also provide information on various career options to educated youth looking for jobs to enable them to launch a successful career and secure their future.
