On the occasion of the International Day of Education 2022, the Learning Planet Institute (formerly CRI) will host the #LearningPlanet Festival from 22 to 29 January 2022 with support from UNESCO. Under the theme 'Learning to take care of oneself, others, and the planet' it features 400+ local events and online activities co-organised with 250 partner organisations from around the world. The Festival is an open platform of workshops, debates, games, screenings, forums and other events dedicated to celebrating new ways of learning and teaching.

24 January 2022, 10:30-12:00 CET - World Tour to the Festival with contributions from David Atchoarena, Director of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning, and Nam Seok-ko, Mayor of the UNESCO Learning City of Yeonsu, Republic of Korea
26 January 2022, 9:30-11:00 - Co-Constructing Futures of Education with a contribution from Sobhi Tawil, Director, Future of Learning and Innovation, UNESCO
26 January 2022, 14:00-15:00 CET - Learning Ecosystems - a revolution in the making? with a contribution from Denise McMorrow, Co-Chair, UNESCO Learning City of Dublin
25 January 2022, 10:00-12:00 CET - Exploring Ways of Learning for Sustainability, roundtable organized in partnership with the Club of Rome
