NGO Pedestrians First has said that breakdown of three city public transport buses during peak hours last Saturday was very serious, as it caused massive traffic jams for hours, and also affected tens of thousands of road users including PMPML commuters. "It is seen that breakdown of buses on road has become a daily affair with no signs of any improvement. In fact the situation is worsening day by day," convener of Pedestrians First, Prashant Inamdar has said. He has called for strict action by the traffic police and the Regional Transport Office.
