Akshaya Patra wins four awards at the PRCI Collateral Awards, 2016

The 10th Global Communication Conclave hosted by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) was held in Kolkata on 22 and 23 January, 2016. The annual conclave is a part of PRCI?s efforts to enrich communication professionals. At this year?s conclave, the focus was on managing organisational risk and maintaining image.
The second day of the conclave, 23 January, 2016 marked the Collateral Awards ceremony to honour organisations, institutions, and professionals for their achievements in the field of communications. It?s worth noting that PRCI has in its ranks bigwigs from the field of Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Advertising, Media, etc.At the event, The Akshaya Patra Foundation bagged four of the five awards for which it was nominated, including the highest honour, the Platinum Award for its Annual Report 2014-15. The inspiring accounts of three children, whom Akshaya Patra helped to pursue their dreams, formed the core of this report. Their progress was also documented in the form of a documentary film, titled ?Giving Every Dream a Chance,? which won a Bronze at the PRCI Awards. Additionally, the organisation also bagged Silver in the Calendar (Table Top) Category and Bronze in the Digital Newsletter Category.
